The Executive Committee manages the business on a combined basis. This reflects the financial information reviewed by the Executive Committee when making decisions about performance and resource allocation and is consistent with the manner in which the Telkom network generates revenue, ie on a combined basis. As a result, Telkom has a single operating and reporting segment. No Group geographical information is provided as the majority of the Group’s operations are carried out in South Africa. The Telkom segment provides fixed-line access, fixed-line usage, data communications services (through Telkom and Cybernest), mobile voice services and handset sales.
