Telkom Business customers win ICT makeovers

Telkom Business has officially granted Business & ICT makeovers worth R150 000 each to five competition winners.

The Small and Medium Business & ICT Makeover Competition winners were announced after the March 2013 lucky draw. The winners are:

  • Piet Meyer of Meypharma from Kroonstad, Free State
  • Andro Engelbrecht of Bradbury Trading from Malmesbury on the West Coast
  • Tony Wagbafor of Amenone Trading CC from Cape Town, Western Cape
  • Leon Minne of Martiq 298 from Pretoria, Gauteng
  • Tash Barnard of TashB Pilates Studio CC from KwaZulu-Natal

Five business coaches, including a Telkom Business ICT Analyst, have been matched to each winning business to offer full scale support for the duration of the three-month business coaching that forms part of the prize.

Says Mr Thami Magazi Managing Executive of the Small and Medium Business Segment for Telkom Business: "this R750 000 competition prize is one part of our overall strategy and investment aimed at cementing our partnership with Small and Medium Business in South Africa".

Mr Magazi continued: "ultimately, we are committed to the seamless provision of consistent services and products to all Telkom Business SMME clients. Not only are we excited for these five winners and Telkom Business customers; but we also view this business improvement process as the actualization of our goal to engage all our clients in a way that helps their and our business attain mutual success."

As precedence to the upcoming comprehensive modification of the five winning businesses, Telkom Business and ActionCoach have been hard at work with intensive ICT and business diagnostc processes. These will assist in determining the elements necessary for the commercial remodelling and the appropriate ICT solutions and services required for each winning business.

Once business needs have been ascertained, the hands-on work of enhancing the businesses will begin in June 2013. This process will last a total of three months, ending in August.

"We wish our small and medium business winners every success and assure them of our full commitment to the business improvement process," concludes Mr Magazi.
