The cost of a FreeCall 080 call is determined by the distance and the duration of the call. The following table illustrates the two distance steps and the applicable charges per minute, according to which the called party will be billed. Calls made to FreeCall 080 are entirely free to the caller.

Callers pay for the local portion of the ShareCall 0860 call at normal Telkom local call (0-50km) rates. The standard Telkom rate for a local call is 44c per minute during Standard Time and 21c per minute during Callmore Time, with a minimum charge of 65c per call
For calls made beyond the local call radius of 50km, the caller still pays the local rate, while the called party will be liable for the ShareCall 0860 long-distance rate less the minimum charge, which is 65c, to a minimum of 0 cents per call

Under this option callers are liable for the full cost of the call. Calls to MaxiCall 0861 numbers will be charged at a flat rate, with a minimum charge of 65c per call. The standard call rate for national calls extending beyond 50km applies i.e. 65c per minute during Standard Time and 33c per minute during Callmore Time. The called party is not liable for any call charges.
