No, cellular numbers cannot be used as destinations. However, the Telkom landline can be Call Forwarded to a cellular number, which means that the SmartAccess calls will also be forwarded to the cellular number.
4. To how many destinations can one SmartAccess number be routed?
The number of destinations allowed per service is theoretically unlimited. However, the routing of SmartAccess calls are based on the area where the calls originate and is limited to magisterial districts. At this point in time more than 320 magisterial districts are defined. A customer can have even more destinations when the Percentage Call feature is used with Custom AreaCall.
We do recommend that customers use the AreaCall feature and that the Custom AreaCall feature is only used when necessary, for ease of managing the service.
