1. My PC is not working properly, who can I contact?
For hardware and software problems, please contact Mustek Help Line on 011 2371919, operating hours 08h00 to 17h00 and then on 0721503104 from18h00 to 22h00 weekdays, 08h00 to 13h00 on Saturdays.

2. Where do I take my PC in for repair under the carry-in warranty?
Any Mustek branch nationwide will honour the carry-in warranty. Should you be too far away to bring it to a Mustek branch, you have the option of sending the PC to Mecer SA via courier for your own account. Alternatively Mustek can refer you to a reputable dealer closest to you. These dealers will honour the warranty on all hardware supplied by Mustek, but you may be subjected to a labour charge or fee.
3. How do I upgrade components on my PC?
Please contact the Mustek Customer Service Hotline on 011 237 1414 for a reputable dealer in your area that is qualified to do upgrades on your Mecer PC.
4. When I switch on my PC, Windows asks me to enter my Product key, where do I find this key?
The Product Key is on the right hand side bottom corner of your case on a Microsoft COA sticker
5. Where can I download drivers for my motherboard?
6. How do I go about registering my copy of Microsoft Windows XP?
Follow the instructions on your screen to register via the internet or phone the number given to you on the screen to activate it verbally.
7. If I open the PC myself will the warranty be void?
Yes, it is advisable to take it to a Mecer qualified PC technician. Please contact the numbers in point 1.
8. Does the Windows XP operating system have Word, Excel etc built in?
No, these are components of the Microsoft Office suite which can be purchased separately.
9. May I upgrade from my current service/contract with Telkom ?
Yes, you may upgrade. For example, if you are an existing TelkomInternet HomeDSL customer, you may order the PC bundle but you will be bound to the 36 month contract. Also, for example, if you have a normal line HomeDSL192KB line, and you want to upgrade to the PC Bundle offering with HomDSL 384, HomeDSL 512 OR HomeDSL 1024, you first need to follow the normal DSL application process, please remember it is subject to availability of DSL in your area.
