  • You must first subscribe to Telkom's Call Answer service to enjoy the benefits of Mail Manager. As a Mail Manager subscriber you will have access to all the fantastic features of Call Answer plus so much more
  • Please note that Mail Manager is charged at an additional subscription to Call Answer
  • Mail Manager is designed specifically for Windows 2000, Windows XP etc…If you are having problems opening the attachments please refer this to your service provider who is more familiar with email settings across various operating systems;
  • All the conditions of Call Answer apply to the Mail Manager service. To learn more about Call Answer, click here
  • You have a choice of two options: Mail Manager and Mail Manager Plus
  • Mail Manager offers you virtual fax and mailbox messaging only. Access to messages is only via the telephone. You may also personalise your mailbox settings and messaging profile using the Profile Manager tool on the Internet
  • Mail Manager Plus, in addition, sends all your messages to your e-mail address, as easy-to-access attachments. You may also personalise your mailbox settings and messaging profile using the Profile Manager tool on the Internet. Access to mailbox and messages can be either via the telephone or the PC
  • Mailbox limitations for Voice and Fax messages are as follows:

  • Mail Manager is not available to Telkom Prepaid customers
  • You cannot send a fax via Mail Manager (Plus) - you can only receive faxes in your mailbox and via e-mail
  • Minimum requirements for Mail Manager Plus are an Internet connected PC and an e-mail client that supports attachments
  • In order to access the voice message attachments on e-mail, you must have at least a PC with a sound card and speakers
  • Access to the Profile Manager requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. The Netscape browser is not supported
