NOTE ON TELEGRAMS RECEIVED FROM A SHIP TO BE DELIVERED TO AN
INMARSAT “C” TERMINAL.

A message received from a ship at sea via  radiotelephone service will be treated as a telegram and
be counted per word.  As there are no land line charges involved the sender will be charged a coast station charge per word.
He will also be charged the relative Inmarsat “C” transmission charges plus a handling fee.
