Procurement Services is responsible for optimising and efficiently managing Telkom’s supply chain. In addition, the Service Organisation actively participates in formulating and managing the Company’s Black Economic Empowerment Programme. In this regard Procurement Services acts as the key link between its internal customers and external suppliers who supply products, services, material and equipment worth billions of rands.

Procurement Services is responsible for the sourcing of Telkom’s operational and capital needs, as well as services requirements with requisite safeguards to contain all possible risks and promote the Company’s interests. The cataloguing of material and equipment, its warehousing, inventory planning and national distribution also resides with Procurement Services, as does managing the Company’s outsourced entities and service providers.
