Telkom has revealed significant value improvements to its TBiz Capped products. This follows a June announcement of greater value on TBiz Uncapped products, and the start of network speed upgrades announced today.
The pre-bundled TBiz products now offer a range of enhanced features on the higher line speeds making them suitable to the higher end business users. The latest value improvement has been applied across a range of bundles to include higher caps, upgrades to the Starter Business VAS (Value-Added Services) packages and the addition of a Specialised Business VAS package.
Steve Lewis, Telkom's Managing Executive: Product House says, "The TBiz range which was launched in October 2011 to cater for the Internet needs of business, especially small and medium businesses were well received by these markets and Telkom continuously seeks to improve the value attained by these customers."
These recently introduced Specialised Business VAS package gives larger businesses more email accounts, web-hosting, and online storage. This bundled value is competitive when compared to the available alternatives such as SkyDrive (stored internationally) or more expensive standalone storage and email solutions. Both Starter and Specialised VAS packages include .co.za domain name and business tools.
Customers still have the option to create their own bundles from the range of line, internet usage and VAS elements that are available.
Furthermore, Telkom Internet has improved the quality of its usage products, based on continuous evolution in the design of its ISP architecture. Customers will experience the benefits of this without effecting adjustments to their profiles.
Telkom Internet remains committed to driving the benefits of content localisation and focuses on allowing business customers the opportunity to access content and software tools that require ISP bandwidth without daytime restrictions.
"These quality improvements are an on-going process based on the feedback from our business customers. Enhancements at an ISP level allows for benefits that are passed on to customers," added Lewis.
Another significant change, indicative of the effectiveness of ISP architecture upgrades in alignment with valued customer feedback, is the account transition capability. Customers can now move seamlessly between capped accounts, and even into uncapped usage accounts, without losing their credentials, email accounts or web-hosted data.
"This removes the barrier to upgrade for our customers by allowing them to enjoy ISP services based on spend or how much of the Internet they wish to use. This is also part of Telkom Internet's commitment towards improved customer experience," concluded Lewis.
