Serame has been appointed as GCEO Designate in August 2021. He has taken over the role of Telkom’s Group Chief Executive Officer from 1 January 2022.

Serame was appointed at Telkom in June 2018 as CEO of the Telkom Consumer business unit, taking responsibility for both its mobile and fixed consumer businesses. He has extensive experience in the field, having previously held senior leadership positions with General Electric Africa (GE) and MTN, where his last role at MTN was as CEO of MTN Ghana. While at GE, Serame was the company’s Growth Leader (Chief Commercial Officer) for Sub-Saharan Africa and Head of Transformation in South Africa. He has also worked for leading FCMG companies such as Unilever, SAB and M-Net, and has completed various executive management courses at IMD (Switzerland), GIBS, INSEAD (Singapore) and the Wharton School of Business.

Nonkululeko was appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 December 2023.

Nonkululeko is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and former Group CFO of Transnet SOC Ltd. She was previously the CFO at IDC and Eskom Holdings SOC Limited ("Eskom") and has held various other management positions within Eskom. She has experience serving as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Kumba Iron Ore Limited and Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA).

For her work at the IDC, Nonkululeko won the 2019 Public Sector CFO of the Year Award. She was also nominated for the 2018 CFO Awards.

Dirk Reyneke (61)

Mr Dirk was appointed as the Chief Capital Projects Officer, effective 1 December 2023.

Dirk served as Group Chief Financial officer since February 2021. He has vast experience in all aspects of finance, risk management and project management and applies strong financial and commercial acumen to focus on key bottom-line priorities that drive shareholder value, whilst driving hard for results and maintaining a razor-sharp focus on key business activities.

Dirk is a qualified Chartered Accountant who joined Telkom as Chief Financial Officer for Telkom Mobile and later took up the role as Group Executive: Finance Business Partner Retail. He also acted as BCX Chief Financial Officer during this time and was appointed as Head of Integration in August 2016 where he was responsible for the legal integration of Telkom Enterprise and Business Connexion (Pty) Ltd. In June 2017, he moved to Telkom’s property division, the Gyro Group of Companies as Chief Financial Officer until May 2019 when Dirk was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer for Telkom: Openserve.

Dirk also has extensive experience in banking and during his tenure at Absa from 2006 to 2012 he operated as Chief Financial Officer for Retail Bank, Head of Finance and Operations: Services Cluster and Chief Operating Officer for Absa Retail and Business Bank.

Althon Beukes was appointed as Chief Executive Officer Openserve in April 2020 and Chief Information Officer of Telkom Group in December 2018 having joined the company in 1994. Althon is a versatile business leader with extensive experience in information and communication technology (ICT) and has held various senior leaderships and directorship roles across the Telkom group. He previously assumed roles such as Managing Director at Cybenest, Chief Operations Officer BCX, Chief of International Business at BCX and Chief Commercial Officer at Openserve.

Melody Lekota (52)

Melody was appointed to the role of Chief of Human Resources for the Telkom Group in March 2017 and is a member of the Group Executive Committee. She has a wealth of experience in Human Resources, both from within the industry and beyond. She joined Telkom from Cell C where she was the Chief HR Officer. Prior to that, Melody led Primedia Ltd's HR team, where she was appointed to the Primedia board in 2006. Melody holds an MBA from De Montfort University, Leicester and is currently studying for a master's degree in Human Resources.

Jonas Bogoshi (57)

Jonas Bogoshi was appointed Chief Executive Office for BCX in June 2018. Prior to this role he was the Chief Revenue Officer at BCX. He has more than 28 years’ experience in information and communication technology (ICT), and brings to BCX a deep knowledge and understanding of the industry, as well as a vast network of strategic professional relationships across the country. He is a determined, principled and visionary leader. Prior to joining BCX he was country manager for EMC. When Dell acquired EMC in 2016, Jonas took on the role of channel lead in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. He is a previous vice president of sales at T-Systems, CEO of GijimaAST, chief of strategic services at the State Information Technology Agency (Sita), and commercial sector manager at Cisco Systems. Jonas brings to BCX a wealth of industry expertise and knowledge that will strengthen its position as a world-class technology provider. His appointment forms a key part of BCX’s business transformation journey and its drive to achieve economies of skill that will enable future business growth.

Lunga Siyo is Chief Executive Officer of Telkom Consumer. Since joining the group in May 2018, he has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to promote revenue growth, scale successful digital platforms and set up the business for future success.

Prior to his appointment at Telkom, Siyo held several senior and executive positions at Blue Chip companies such as MTN, BP, Santam and Standard Bank. He graduated from Millpark Business School with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) as well as a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.

Siyo has more than 20 years' worth of knowledge in strategy, general management, sales and marketing, digital transformation, and finance, and has valuable experience working in multiple territories and regions across the African continent.
